Codeguard stuck on causing CG32.DLL missing

I'm using Embarcadero C++Builder 10.1 Berlin Version 24.0.24468.8770 - I upgraded from a previous version. Everything went fine for a while. I can tell the compiler works very well. The app runs allot faster. I deployed this 32 bit app 2 or 3 updates without problems. Now I'm stuck. I cant deploy my application. Every other machine (without the development compiler) produces the error " This program can't start because CG32.DLL is missing from your computer." I think Codeguard is stuck on.

Project options says its off. But the error message says otherwise. What is the workaround ? Should I just create a new project

This problem has happened to me before. I cant remember how to fix it. Can anyone make a suggestions ?

Debug is supposed to be off. Project | Options | Target | Release configuration - 32 bit windows platform

I'm pretty sure this problem has come and gone a few times. When you search online its clear this goes back to 4+ years ago.

I'm feeling old and stupid right now - Maybe this is all me and its just some checkbox - Or maybe there is some problem being triggered that makes it get stuck on ?

Is there a simple way to fix this or should I abandon the project file and create a new one from scratch ?

That, or just edit the project file to remove any references to the CodeGuard
libraries.

In my install of Berlin 10.1 I cannot find cg32.dll.

Does this mean CodeGuard is no longer supported in Berlin?

AFAIK, CodeGuard is still supported (it is still documented, anyway - I never
use CodeGuard myself). Maybe you have an incomplete IDE installation? What
edition are you using?

Well it's present, but it hasn't worked properly since C++Builder 6 or so. I can only recommend not using it.

I have the Starter edition, update 2. I just installed it in a second computer, and I can't find CG32.dll anywhere. Only the cg32.lib file is present.

I looked at the feature matrix, but I cannot find any mention of CodeGuard being available only in some editions.

It is a pity that CodeGuard is not supported, it was useful tool in some cases and was a differentiatior between Broland's tools and other vendors

I am also using Berlin Starter Edition 10.1.2. If CodeGuard is still supported, where can I find it?

I have been using Borland C++ since 1994 and have always used CodeGuard and have always found it very useful.

I don't know if CodeGuard is available in the Starter Edition or not. A
lot of things are not.

I have been using Borland C++ since 1994 and have always used
CodeGuard and have always found it very useful.

I have never found GodeGuard useful. It is too buggy and crashes alot.
