After upgrading to Tokyo 10.2.2 I cannot compile Libs depending on Intraweb as at least one file is compiled with a different version of Generics. I am afraid an Update of Intraweb ist needed.

Looks like the same problem reported by Stephane Grobety (see below)

it's not from intraweb.
it is a known compatibility bug of embarcadero.
emb are working on a BugFix patch, and they said they will release it soon.

Hello Eitan,

Would you happen to be able to share the source of that info ? I can find anything from EMB, only 2dn or 3rd hand accounts about they "working on a fix" and I'd appreciate to have a more direct information in order to be able to communicate with my management.

Chad (from AToZed) is in direct contact with Embarcadero, and that's what they told him

I was able to recompiile all my packages only IntraWeb is missing at the moment, as I have no source. In general, is it possible to license the complete source?

IMHO a glitch like this in Delphi Updates is severe and I so do not believe in Emba having a solution soon.

Would you folks at ATOZED mind compiling an interim Intraweb Version with the "broken" 10.2.2 until Emba has a solution?

This would help me (and surely others in my situation): I updated Delphi on two machines and already worked on other projects before I noticed the problems and going back would be a big amount of work.

Thanks in advance!

AToZed can't give all the sources.
some files are iw licensing file, and some are files that belong to other companies that AToZed don't have a license to spread freely.

as i share your "worries" about emb (...), having AToZed make another bypass or solution will be like re-inventing the wheel, so i don't think AToZed can or should do anything about it.
a fix from emb will come (hopefully soon).

here are the answers Chad have for a similar question regarding the same problem :

We are working with EMBT now.

To add a new build is a big deal because we cannot install 10.2.1 and
10.2.2 at the same time and 10.2.2 is likely going to be replaced or
deprecated as is. Thus, the impact to us to make a new build can easily
be 1-2 days including testing etc and then we likely would have to throw
away that work and then fix up or snapshot the build server as well.

10.2.2 has other issues besides just the bin problem and currently I do
not recommend that users upgrade to it.

I can definitively understand you, I wish, I had not updated this fast. It is a problem, that 10.2.1 and 10.2.2 cannot be installed sibe by side, this would make things much easier.

Hopfefully Emba will offer a smooth solution for idiots like me who upgraded immediately. This I never will do again.

We are working closely with EMBT. I cannot provide many details but I
can reiterate that:

-They are aware of the situation.
-It was unintentional
-They are testing fixes currently.
