Although Embarcadero claims to support Windows 8, it doesn't completely as it does not support one of the major new features in Windows 8: Direct2D 1.1. Because C++ Builder comes with its own Direct2D 1.0 header files, I am unable to use Direct2D 1.1, nor can I use Microsoft's header files as they clash with those already in C++ Builder. Is there a way to make this work, or is someone able enough to rewrite the header files and offer them to me (for a fee)? Thanks.

Meanwhle XE7 has been released and the header files for Windows 8's Direct2D 1.1 are still missing. Anyone able to correct this omission? I really hate to move to Visual Studio just because of this.
