Hello,

all devices? Or which one specifically and which Android version?
Does it crash with the demo application which uses this technique as
well too? (not that you made some subtle mistake somewhere else in your
app influencing this function - just to exclude that one).

Greetings

Markus

Hello Markus,

i try to run my application with debugger and when i click a second time to TakePhotoFromCamera appear

First chance exception at $7807AF9D. Exception class EJNIException with message 'java.lang.IllegalStateException: A required meta-data tag in your app's AndroidManifest.xml does not exist. You must have the following declaration within the <application> element: <meta-data android:name="com.google.android.gms.version" android:value="@integer/google_play_services_version" />'. Process MyApp.apk (28328)

My device is Samsung SM-T530 with Android 4.4.2

Seems to be something on the AndroidManifest file, because this project was started with dephi Xe6 and now continue with delphi Xe7 and get this problem, with Xe6 work good.
Another thing , if a create a new project in xe7 the camera work fine(demo sample is ok).

Thanks

Hello,

did you compare the manifest file of your project from XE>6 times and
from after the conversion to XE7? That should tell you the difference.

Hello Markus,

after hard working i found a mistake!!! Was a BannerAd. It is very strange!

In my project there is a one form that have a BannerAd...
My application have a custom orientation to portrait only. When i take a photo with TakePhotoFromCamera and then save the application change from portrait to landscape and then came back to portrait(I don't know why), anyway this changing produce a crash in the form that have a bannerAd.. I remove the bannerAd temporary and now my app work fine, but this is very strange.!

Thanks.
