So, my problem is that i don't have any base on the C++ Builder. I have an Integrated Project from my school and i want to create an app on android using bluetooth to command a PIC18F4550, but i don't know how to do that.
My teacher taught us how to make on computer the connection, but he doesn't use TBluetooth. He uses a different mettod to communicate to the bluetooth module connected to pic. Anyone can help me? Giving me some example code or something like that. Thank you all and sorry for my english.

Hello,

at least with Delphi there is a Bluetooth Chat demo program shipping in
the samples. Look at the documents folder of the PC where you have C++
Builder installed and there you should find a Embarcadero subfolder and
there is a samples subfolder somewhere.

Which kind of Bluetooth? Classic Bluetooth or Low Energy (BLE)?
Which version of C++ Builder do you use?

Greetings

The Bluetooth is Classic Bluetooth and the version is C++ Builder 10 Seattle. I tried to understand that sample, but i don't know Delphi, just C++, so, i'ts more difficult.

Hello,

so that sample doesn't exist as C++ Builder sample as well?
(I'm not familiar with C++ Builder)

It works roughly like this:
- create the connection to the serial port service offered by
your device
- you can send data bytes
- there's a timer which checks if there's data available and
fetches this if there is.
- when closing the app the connection is being closed

I guess (without checking right now) that the data passed and/or
received is in form of streams. You you should learn that concept. Read
the help topic for TStream for a start, if necessary.

That's how far I remember.

Greetings

Markus
