hello

I create simple code apptethering with bluetooth as adapter on my android kitkat , there is no error shown but seems it cannot find other apptethering manager from other device, don't know what is wrong ?

here is the code

procedure TForm4.Button1Click(Sender: TObject);
begin

try

TetheringManager1.DiscoverManagers;

except
on E:Exception do
ShowMessage(E.Message);
end;
end;

procedure TForm4.TetheringManager1EndManagersDiscovery(const Sender: TObject;
const ARemoteManagers: TTetheringManagerInfoList);
var
I:integer;
begin
Memo1.Lines.Add('discover finished' + inttostr(ARemoteManagers.Count));
for I := 0 to ARemoteManagers.Count -1 do
begin
Memo1.Lines.Add(ARemoteManagers[I].ManagerIdentifier);
Memo1.Lines.Add(ARemoteManagers[I].ManagerName);
Memo1.Lines.Add(ARemoteManagers[I].ManagerText);
end;

end;

and the screenshot:

I compile the code and copy to both android device , but seems they cannot find each others ?

I really appreciate if someone could guide me, firemonkey is great application.

Note: i am using delphi 10 seattle with win 7 os. Android debug on 4.4.4 kitkat

I've had similar problems with Delphi 10 Seattle / Win 7 64. I've tried the Photowall example and been unable to get it to work at all. I was told there was a fix to this in D10 Update 1, but so far still not been able to get it work.

I can get it to work fine with WiFi but not Bluetooth. My suspicion is that problem is still a Delphi bug - I'd be happy to be corrected, but not so far.

Hi Jon.

Have you paired both devices before launching app? This should solve your problem.

Un saludo, Antonio Tortosa.
