Hello ,
I use Firedac and Firebird database , and a CachedUpdates mode with Master/detail dataset.

If all detail records for one master FDQuery record are deleted, they will re-appear if the master record is posted .

This is a very old problem occurs in D6-D7 with BDE and TClientDataset .

Thanks to give me the solution for this problem.

Do you use parameter or range based master-detail setup ?

Hello,
How can they leave a very old bug like this in the recent version of Delphi . I have not found a solution yet.

Does nobody saw it before me, it's not normal!

At the time, Borland provided a solution (work arround) but it works only for TClientDataSet, now we use FDQuery.

Best regards

I'm having the same problem, could someone give us a solution for this problem?

I'm using Centralized Cached Updates mode.
