Hello.

I have a doubt. My web project is getting bigger.
it handles at least 80 different windows. for 80 different operations.

what is the better use of the resorts. working with IWForms? (one for each window)

or just one IWForm showning "frames" inside a IWRegion.

pros? cons?

good question.

i too work on a big app (currently have about 200 forms and frames, but there should be 300+ at the end...)
i think the best way is to combine between new forms, frames when needed, and also inherited forms and frames.

i think forms are easier to manage when you have menus.
that way you can find what you want very easily.
frames are good when you need the same functionality in different forms, or when it's not 100% sure if you will need to show it in a form (load them dynamically)
and inherited forms are really great to save you A LOT of time to set the form to it's basic needs, and that from some point needs to change (you will need to work a lot less for the differences, and maintaining it will be MUCH easier).

as far as i know, frames takes a little less memory then forms.
frames are great to have in pages with a dynamic list, and with pages (or windows) like the IDE's Option window
