Does the Starter edition not have the form designer options? I remember
seeing them greyed out but now the page is blank and the page that is
off of it is also blank.

I have another question. The internet site www.borland.com has gone and
so the online help for Turbo Explorer (2006 C++ Builder) has gone or
moved. Can it still be accessed? I have access to the latest online
help pages but I would like this anyway.

That is because Borland is no more. After it sold its dev tools
company, CodeGear, to Embarcadero in 2008, Borland was bought by
MicroFocus in 2009.

the online help for Turbo Explorer (2006 C++ Builder) has gone or
moved.

All RAD Studio documentation going back to RS2010 (and a few pages
going back to BDS2007) is at http://docwiki.embarcadero.com. I don't
see anything for BDS2006 and earlier, though.

Can it still be accessed? I have access to the latest online help
pages but I would like this anyway.

There are still downloads available for Turbo (compiler patches,
hotfixes, etc) in the "Registered User Downloads" section of EDN:

http://cc.embarcadero.com/myreg

But no documentation downloads.

Is there a bug with the form designer options?

I have another small question. When building a static library with the
clang compiler I don't see any precompiled header files or linker state
files. Is this normal? I see that the .pch file normally goes to the
"Object file output directory." The same project compiled with the
classic compiler does generate these things.

I have done an internet search and there is a Delphi project to fix
this. Unfortunately I don't have Delphi. Here is the address:
https://github.com/lynatan/StarterFix

Does anyone have the time to open the project, save a bpl file and then
send it to me?

The form designer options have now returned by chance after I fixed my installation of Microsoft Visual J# 2.0 Redistributable Package - SE (x64). Instructions for doing that are here: https://community.embarcadero.com/component/easyblog/?view=entry&id=7990&Itemid=101
