I have an oddball issue going on.

XE7 DBCtrlGrid app -- that was working -- upgraded to XE 10.1 Upd1.

One DBCtrlGrid works fine. Others:
* boxes around the text will not display
* Color is respected and works when I change it programatically
* Selected color does not get painted
* OnPaintPanel does not get called

Did not have this issue in XE7. Cannot reproduce in separate application.

Driving me up a tree. Anyone else have a clue? Or the next step to get a clue?

Something seems to have failed after color is painted, and the empty boxes get painted -- because they get displayed. Also, the DBText fields do get populated on the form, but without the surround, and with no selected color on the selected panel.

Thanks

Would like to move this post to C++Builder->VCL

Reposted there -- not sure how to prevent cross post.
