Does anyone know why a program that runs fine on Windows 10 fails with an api-ms-win-core-localization-li-2-1.dll error on Windows 7

I understand that the .dll is missing but how are we to know these things when building our apps? This goes back to a question I posted sometime back about how to find out which .dll's should be packaged into our distros. I never got an answer for that question. I had replies, but unfortunately they were not answers.

I was finally able to get the program to run on Windows 10 machines, after trial and error on collecting all of the necessary supporting files. The only way I was able to do that was to use InstallAware and using the Scan feature to find the needed files. However it did not find the localization dll in question.

So I guess my question is, for us newbies, how are we to know and collect all the necessary files needed for a regular VCL/Windows distro?

I really do love the Embarcadero Eco-system, but it is an uphill battle when trying to get things actually distributed and running.

Any advice wold be very much appreciated.

Using C++ Builder 10.2 mobile/firedac.
