Using C++ Builder 10.2.2

When creating a package, one can request if one wants to build a static package on the option page (in addition to dynamic package, that is always built).

When the "build static package" option is set, the IDE generates both static and dynamic version of the package, "in one go".

This could be nice, however, I don't see how, in the linking stage, whether a static or dynamic package is being built? Obviously. if I build a static package, I want to link in a static versions of my 3rd party library. If a dynamic build, I want dynamic versions of my 3rd party libs to be linked in.

Currently I can't see how to control this. Any hints??

Thanks,
tk
